The second official review of my favorite Belgian style brewery, Allagash. Today's beer is the Belgian Tripel. Tripels are one of my favorite styles because of drinkable they are while having real flavor. Allagash has been very successful creating their own takes on these popular style; so successful that they are one the nation's largest craft breweries.
Pouring out a beautiful hazy golden hue this beer definitely looks the part. Topped with a fluffy 1" white head; this really is a beautiful beer. Aroma is noticeably filled with banana and a kick of clove spices. You will find the taste to follow the aroma. Noticeable banana and clove flavor notes with no noticeable alcohol flavor. This beer finishes very dry. You will definitely reach for another sip.
